Orvahl™ Verve Matte Black & Glass Architectural Vanity Wall Sconce
Bold matte black metalwork meets refined glass diffusion in the Orvahl™ Verve Architectural Vanity Wall Sconce, crafted for contemporary baths, powder rooms, and corridors.
Mount the luminaire center at 60″ to 66″ above the finished floor. When flanking a bathroom mirror or fireplace, space sconces 6″ to 8″ outward from the frame edge for shadow-free vertical illumination.
Suspend the bottom edge of the fixture 30″ to 34″ above the dining surface. Select a luminaire diameter roughly 10″ to 14″ narrower than the total width of your table for balanced spatial proportion.
Select a backlit vanity mirror 2″ to 4″ narrower than the stone vanity below it. For bedside and living room tables, position the diffuser at seated eye level (42″ to 48″ above floor).
Whether specifying luminaires for a private residence or an interior design project, our concierge team provides tailored guidance on mounting, voltage, and material care.
Explore Full CollectionOur Zero-Wire architectural sconces install in under three minutes without an electrician, drywall channeling, or visible cords—using a concealed magnetic backplate and a removable USB-C rechargeable core that delivers up to 16 hours of continuous warm 2700K illumination per charge. For permanent architectural renovations, our hardwired luminaires mount directly to standard North American junction boxes and support wall-switch dimming.
Yes—authentic geological stone and solid North American Black Walnut are prized for their organic variations. Subtle differences in travertine pitting, alabaster clouding, and timber grain are hallmarks of genuine quarried stone and solid wood rather than synthetic resin imitations. Every piece is hand-inspected for structural balance and tonal harmony prior to dispatch.
Every order includes complimentary insured, tracked door-to-door delivery across the United States and Canada. Stone pendants, travertine lamps, and walnut mirrors are encased in custom-molded high-density protective crating to safeguard delicate edges and glass optics in transit. You receive real-time milestone tracking from dispatch through arrival.
We invite you to experience ORVAHL luminaires in your own space and natural light for 30 days. If a piece does not harmonize with your interior architecture, you may initiate a return in its original packaging within 30 days of delivery. In the rare event of transit damage, our concierge dispatches a priority replacement at zero cost to you.
“We specified a matched pair of Orvahl linear brass sconces and the backlit vanity mirror for a limestone primary bath renovation. The warm 2700K color rendering is remarkably soft and glare-free, and the brushed brass hardware rivals custom showroom pieces at three times the price.”
“The weight and natural veining of the stone and solid walnut exceeded every expectation. Tracked delivery arrived in five business days encased in custom high-density protective foam, and mounting was effortless.”
“Finding architectural lighting that balances warm minimalism with rapid North American dispatch is rare. Our clients immediately noticed the tactile warmth of the Roman travertine and linen diffusion at dusk.”
